FAQ

Where is the Orr Memory Clinic?

We are located in Mendota Heights, just a 10 minute drive from downtown St. Paul. Please visit our Contact Us page for additional details.

How do I know if Orr Memory Clinic is right for me or my family?

We specialize in cognitive memory loss and associated depression. If you or your loved ones are experiencing these symptoms, please contact us.

How to request a Forensic Evaluation by Dr. Orr?

Dr. Orr works directly with attorneys, so the best approach is to have your attorney contact the clinic. We will take down the initial information and then Dr. Orr, or his representative, will call the attorney back.

Does the Orr Memory Clinic see patient who do not have memory problems?

Yes! We see patients with a variety of psychiatric problems, including depression, bipolar disorders, anxiety, and chronic psychotic conditions such as schizophrenia. We do not, however, manage patients with on-going substance abuse issues.

Does the Orr Memory Clinic have therapists?

While treatment of patients usually does involve educational and supportive therapies, we do not currently have counselors or talk-therapy specialists in our clinic.

Why do you require a family member or friend accompany the patient to the clinic?

When evaluating memory problems, it is often the case that the patient cannot recall or describe their deficits or problems. Having someone who knows you well accompany you to the appointment will help the providers understand what the nature and extent of the problem. We also educate and partner with your family/caregiver to assist in helping you.
